MSC Cruises initiated the unique Get on board for children project in 2009 to support an innovative UNICEF initiative aimed at providing disadvantaged children in Brazil with a quality education. The three-year project was recently recognized in Argentina by the RSC Awards 2010 (Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2010) with special recognition in the ‘Company’ category.
The project Get on board for children was shortlisted among 50 of an initial total of almost 500 projects presented by other leading international companies. MSC Cruises was selected by an exclusive judging panel as one of the 5 winners together with General Motors and Ford.
