Princess Cruises Ships to Broadcast Historic Presidential Inauguration on January 20
Expected to be one of the most widely watched presidential inaugurations in history, the swearing-in of President-elect Barack Obama will be televised live on most Princess Cruises ships on January 20. Passengers will be able to follow live coverage of the historic inauguration ceremony through CNN International’s all-day broadcast of the event.
Vessels will be broadcasting all key events throughout the day, including the oath of office and the presidential walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. Ships will show the events in public rooms or on Movies Under the Stars aboard those vessels with the poolside screens. Special viewing parties will offer the opportunity to celebrate with themed food and drinks, plus give passengers the opportunity to test their knowledge with a presidential trivia contest, featuring tote bags from CNN International for the winners.
