Winter in the Caribbean – Windstar Cruises Deals

If there is a cruise that I have always been eager to experience, that would definitely be on Windstar Cruises. They are not kidding when they say that they are 180 degrees from ordinary!
“The Windstar passenger sees the world from a romantic sailing ship with luxurious accommodations, a casual yet elegant atmosphere, and exquisite service and cuisine.”
From the first time I sat down to watch a promotional video during a training seminar to getting absolutely glowing customer feedback of how “this was the best cruise they have ever been on”, I have told myself that one of these days you will find me blogging on the decks of one of line’s motor sail yachts …. that is, if time can be found in between the exotic ports of call, unscheduled stops and the exciting life onboard.
Much to my surprise, after a recent visit to their website, I found more reasons to want to take a cruise with them – beautiful still photos of their destinations, regular podcasts on the latest ship luxury enhancements and Windspa body therapies. The original video that had me first enthralled me about this cruise line is also viewable on the web.

That really does look very nice and quite romantic. Thanks for the write up.
I never thought about taking a cruise during their winter but after reading the above it does sound like they have a lot to offer. Some great deals also.
It is the best time to go to get away from the cold up north. But do one that visits the more southern regions of the Carib. Going to the Bahamas can get too cool. I went once in January and it was in the 50´s…so head south!
Travelforever, LOL! I’d love to head south anytime of the year, and not just in January.
Except, of course, when the tornadoes make its way around the area.
It can be cool in the Bahamas in November and December also. And like you, I will jump on board anytime. There is nothing like a cruise vacation…
Now that 2008 is almost here, all the lines will be having sales for the spring and summer sailings to book what is remaining solid. Check out your Cruise Headlines, newspapers and web to find the best available!
I will have to check out the sales. I had not realized that it got that cool in the Caribbean.
Tater03 – Only in the Bahamas and Southern Florida which can get cold snaps during the winter.
Thanks, to be honest though their coldsnaps would probably be way better then ours. I am living in the snowbelt and would love just even a hint of warm weather right now.
Travelforever, not only are they coming out with specials. They are also booking up really, really quickly!
If anyone wants a cruise specialist recommendation, please let me know and I’ll probably be able to refer someone in your area!
Tater03, it will definitey still pretty warm weather for you if you live somewhere very cold during the winter.
In fact, a lot of people do that.
