For American cruisers knew changes like these were just a matter of time. They've been slowly integrated into the no smoking policies by the current changes in their neighborhood bars, restaurants and places of work. So they have pretty much heard all there is to hear about the debate. European cruisers though will find it difficult because there are equally great cruises like you mentioned operating with little restrictions to smoking. This way you are aware of where people are smoking and it allows you to be more viligent when it comes to making sure that a fire doesn't start because of a lit cigerette left burning.
